As a registered nurse with 25 plus years of experience, I found that while caring for my patients, the mind/body connection was extremely powerful. I found that my patients who meditated and were given the tools to work with their mind, were more successful at recovering from whatever their issue was. I was always fascinated by the fact that the mind had such a strong connection to the experiences my patients would have. An example is how when a person is stressed, they gain or lose weight, get sick, or struggle to heal.
These experiences made hypnotism fascinating to me. I decided to study hypnotism as a way to assist my patients with everything from healthy lifestyle changes, anxiety or stress relief, to pain management. I’m finding that hypnotism is an extremely powerful tool to assist people to attain a healthy, happy lifestyle.
